Real World School Emergency
According to the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training at Texas State University, San Marcos:
The most current 2000-2016 study of Active Attack Events state there are a total of 242 attacks. From 2009-2016 the number of attacks stabilized at 22 per year, or 1 attack every 2.5 weeks, with almost 25% occurring in the education setting. Once the attacks begin, victims stop the attacks either by subduing the attacker 12% of the time, or by shooting them 3%.

An in depth look at many factors involved in strengthening the overall security of a building or installation in order to protect it.

A structured group process used to evaluate the risk posed by a student or another person, typically as a response to an actual or perceived threat or concerning behavior.

Training and testing of Building Response teams to various real world emergencies.
Citizens Response Training
Actions to take during an active shooter event such as Avoid, Barricade and Confront.
Bus Driver Training
Terrorism awareness training for school bus drivers.
Firearms Training
For armed personnel working within a school such as school teachers, guardians and marshals. This training will be progressive firearms training that builds upon skill sets to develop confidence and better prepare oneself in response to an active shooter event.
Stop the Bleed
Designed for individuals who have little or no medical training but who may be called upon as immediate responders to provide initial trauma care and bleeding control to a victim of traumatic injury prior to the arrival of emergency medical services (EMS).
