I took CL360’s Point-of-Wounding Care training when Spartan School Consulting delivered it at CUPIC 2014 (Campus and University Police & Investigator’s Conference). This course is amazing! It teaches you valuable techniques that can be used as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) on any critically injured officer, civilian or even yourself in catastrophic event. The best part is the majority of the course is hands on and not all power point, as we LEO’s dread enduring. I STRONGLY recommend all LEO’s & security personnel take this course – at either an organizational level or individual level – because the end result of taking this course definitely won’t be disappointing. You’ll learn a lot!

We recently had Spartan School Consulting come in and deliver their High Consequence Events Management: Preparation, Response and Recovery seminar to some of our members and the training content was excellent and it was delivered in an extremely professional manner from all the instructors. It was truly an eye opener to understand the complexity of such events and how they affect your organization or you as an individual. The attendees left the training feeling empowered with various response options to many different situations. The medical portion was not only practical for a High Consequence Event but for injuries that may occur at our range or while our members are out in the wilderness. I highly recommend this seminar for anyone that is serious about emergency preparedness.
Over the past 5 years we have had Spartan School Consulting come in to deliver emergency preparedness training at both our AMDA campuses in New York and Los Angeles. They consistently have a team of professionals that always come prepared and easily connect with the students and staff during the training they deliver. Although the material is serious in nature it is always delivered in a way that prepares and not scares people. Much of the training has been reinforced with various drills that have been well received throughout our campus community. As one of my duties as K-12 District Nurse for Easton Area School District, Easton, PA I coordinated school safety training for our school nurses, security guards and school police officers, in tandem with local law enforcement partners who respond to crisis events at our schools. We were very impressed with Lou Rapoli and his team who provided a Full-Day in-service for us re: preparing for and responding to mass casualty incidents in the school setting. Lou and his instructors are highly-qualified experts in their field, extremely capable in imparting their tactical knowledge in relevant and useful ways to our diverse audience: Active Shooter Simulation Exercises and hands-on practice with emergency casualty care equipment were two techniques Lou and his team provided the attendees to learn the critical crises-response skills we needed.
As an outcome of this training, our school district continues mock-drill practices with our local partners, has updated our Safe Schools procedures and has made security improvements to campus buildings, to name a few.
