Robert Caudill

Detective Robert Caudill has extensive experience and training in many areas that include active shooter response, and training school marshals, school teachers and guardians.

Caudill has served 21+ years in law enforcement with the Austin Police Department (where he is an Instructor and Detective in the Violent Crimes Robbery Division), and formerly the Virginia Beach Police Department.

He is Co-Founder of The Cadre Professional Instructor Group, he is also an Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response (ALERRT) Instructor, an Austin Police Cadet Instructor, an Austin Police Firearms and Defensive Tactics Instructor, as well as an Instructor in additional areas.

Caudill began his career with service in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years, where he served in various Commander roles, as well as Company Commander Instructional Training Company.

He graduated from Ohio University, Athens Ohio with a B.S. in Telecommunications.
