Raymundo Flete has served for 16 years with the New York City Police Department, most recently as a Counter-Terrorism Investigator. Among his numerous responsibilities, he conducts facility site assessments, threat assessment of potential perpetrators, and is a seasoned training instructor. For the last 6 years, he has worked conducting crime prevention, anti-bullying, and active shooter training throughout the New York City public and private schools.
Ray is a well-known instructor on threat assessment, bullying, crime prevention and targeted violence. Currently serving as an investigator in the New York City Police Department School Safety Division Counterterrorism Unit.
Ray is an accomplished presenter and instructor on Active Shooter mitigation and preparedness as well as emergency planning and preparedness, having trained over thousands of law enforcement as well as civilians in New York City and Internationally.
He holds multiple certifications as an instructor, and many other certifications, from several Federal and State institutions.
Ray is a graduate of the Metropolitan College of New York with a Master in Public Administration specializing in Emergency and Disaster Management as well as the City University of New York John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor of Science in Protection and Security Management. Currently Ray is pursuing his PhD. at St. John Fischer College.
